Co-creation workshop for a Digital Product Passport in the Build Industry

A digital product passport for the build industry

From the Materials & Chemistry Unit of VITO NV, the Communication Strategists from Steinbeis European Center and the Tech Start-up Amodamo, all members of the European CIRCULAR-C project consortium, we are pleased to invite you to participate in the CIRCULAR-C Co-Creation Workshop, which will take place as follows:

When: 16 February 2025, 09:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Where: online event

Language: English

In line with emerging EU requirements, the CIRCULAR-C project is driving the uptake of digital product passports (DPPs) for bio-based construction and furniture products. The project focuses on developing a structured DPP data model for the built environment that covers core product details, upstream supply chain data, usage information, and end-of- life aspects. The workshop will bring together experts and stakeholders from the fields of science, industry, policy, academia, and civil society at local and national levels to discuss practical issues relating to the collection and exchange of data, including transparent, machine-readable formats; durability; data volume; alignment with ISO and GS1 standards; and secure software solutions with robust back-end integration. By encouraging cross-sector dialogue, the event aims to promote digital tools that can bolster recycling and circular bioeconomy practices within the construction sector.
